Abstract

Decision support systems in the computerized world is growing rapidly, with this system people can obtain information in support of the decision. Decision Support System, known as SPK is part of a computer-based information system. There are several stages in the decision support system is to define problems, collect data that is relevant and appropriate, processing the data into information, and determine alternative solutions. This study uses a profile matching in this decision support system resulted in a decision support system application optimize the utilization of palm oil waste that can be used in companies. The criteria used in decision support systems optimize the utilization of palm oil waste are: qualification, management and estimation.
