Abstract

Leprosy is a disease that brings stigma causing psychosocial problem for leprosy patients, families and communities. The family as a support system is expected to provide psychosocial support for people with leprosy so the psychosocial issues that arise can be resolved. Family psychoeducation is a strategy that can be applied to assist the family in providing psychosocial support to the family of lepers. This study aimed to identify the influence of family psychoeducation to family psychosocial support to family members who suffer from leprosy. Therefore, researchers made a study of expert systems to diagnose leprosy Method Using Perceptron where this method the patient / patient can find out how much the value of the likelihood of leprosy / value weighting of each criterion symptoms, so that the patient / patient can learn and understand the various types of criteria a criteria leprosy symptoms experienced by the patient / patient.
