Digital image is a picture of an object that is an analog form of video signals on a TV monitor, or digital nature that can be directly stored on a storage media such as hard drives, flash, memory card and various other storage media. The use of digital images has increased because of the advantages possessed by the digital image, among other things ease in obtaining an image, multiply the image, image processing and others. But not all digital images have a satisfactory visual appearance of the human eye. Canny in 1986 and the use of multi-stage algorithms to detect edges in the image. Although these algorithms have lived long enough, but the algorithm has become the standard edge detection algorithm and is still used in research. Canny algorithm is one of the operators that are used for edge detection in images, is similar operator Sobel operator. Canny algorithm is done by involving the kernel convolution with canny.en_US
