HUBUNGAN ANTARA KONFORMITAS DENGAN PERILAKU MEMBOLOS PADA SISWA SMK SANTO PAULUS MEDAN

Abstract

This study aims to see the relationship between conformity and truancy behavior in the students of SMK Santo Paulus Medan. This study uses quantitative methods. The data obtained from the subject of 70 people using a total sampling technique by distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale, and processed with SPPS 26. The measuring instrument used is the conformity scale and the truant behavior scale. This research uses data analysis with product moment correlation technique. The results obtained by this study are that there is a very significant positive relationship between conformity and truancy behavior, with a correlation value of rxy = 0,997; sig < 0.05 and with a large contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable 0.994 (94%) in other words 0.6% comes from other aspects. In this study, the empirical mean of conformity was 55.80, while the hypothetical mean of 60 showed that conformity was quite low and the empirical mean of truancy was 101.9571 with a hypothetical mean of 110, so this indicates that truancy behavior is quite low as well.
