Abstract

Thesis entitled "Decision Support System for Selecting Stingray Skins Eligible for Export Using the AHP Method (Case Study of PT. Yakita Mulia)" was written by Yohannes Van Argo Siagian, Nim 1813000288 supervisor Muhammad Taufiq Rustam, M.Kom The research in this thesis is motivated by the phenomenon of the increasing number of orders for stingray skin. This study aims to develop a web application, using the DSS design using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. In order to facilitate employee performance. So that later employees can make it easier to choose stingray skin. Previously, the process of selecting the best stingray skin was done manually by employees, several problems were found, namely for the selection of the best employees there was no less accurate method, previously there was no SPK application to facilitate the assessment of the best stingray skin. The AHP method can provide a rational value for the weight of criteria and alternative priorities in choosing stingray skin based on predetermined criteria, including craft, responsibility, neatness of work. This web-based DSS application that uses the AHP method aims to provide a more objective and rational assessment every month and also produces reports containing efficient information.
